Early in his tenure, the late Judge Randy D. Doub recognized the importance of preserving the history of the bankruptcy court in the Eastern District of North Carolina through oral histories. After his untimely death, the oral history sub-committee of the court continued to interview notable figures in the history of the court. These transcripts have been reviewed by the subjects and have been released for public enjoyment. While the sub-committee is no longer actively conducting interviews, long time practitioners and employees are encouraged to submit answers to interrogatories to be included in this collection. Please contact Christine Castelloe (919-334-3824 or Christine_Castelloe@nceb.uscourts.gov) if you’re interested in completing interrogatories for this collection.
