Electronic Document Submission System

EDSS is a service that may be used by self-represented parties who need to file documents with the court as an alternative to mailing or bringing the documents to the courthouse.  Documents will be processed by the next business day.

NOTE: New Bankruptcy Cases cannot be filed using EDSS. These may be filed using the Electronic Bankruptcy Package that is found here. Submitting Bankruptcy Package Electronically  Additionally, schedules or other documents related to the filing of a new bankruptcy case SHOULD NOT be submitted here.

Bank statements, federal income tax returns, and pay stubs SHOULD NOT be submitted here.

All attorneys and ECF users must file using CM/ECF.

An individual or entity using EDSS must provide a valid e-mail address.

A document submitted using EDSS is not officially filed with the Clerk’s office until the Clerk’s office has sent an e-mail confirming the receipt of the uploaded document. The document is considered to be filed on the date indicated on the confirmation e-mail.

Filing with EDSS is governed by the EDSS Administrative Procedures.
